A Summer Stroll – Unframed

A Fourth of July evening in Kennebunkport, when summer seems to linger a little longer. A leisurely stroll past Port Lobster, the taste of lobster still a sweet memory, and the sky softening with the last light of sunset. Ahead, the promise of fireworks; for now, the simple pleasure of wandering, with nowhere to hurry and an entire summer evening to savor.

A summer stroll holds a little of that feeling: the warmth, the anticipation, and the seaside traditions we carry home long after July has slipped away. Painted in oil on canvas, it is a small keepsake of a summer night worth remembering.
