About the Artist

Welcome! I'm Laura Myers, an oil painter based on the coast of New Jersey. I am a wife, a mother to three beautiful children and a special education teacher. I have loved painting and art since I was a child. My father was an incredible artist who has inspired and influenced my passion and drive to keep creating. My father was diagnosed with dementia about 8 years ago and can no longer paint. I try to keep his artistic spirit alive through my work.

My work explores coastal landscapes along the east coast, through the rich, luminous quality of oil paint. My family and I love to road trip and many of my paintings are inspired by our travels along the east coast.

Each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind piece created with care and intention. I believe that art has the power to transform a space and bring warmth, beauty, and meaning into everyday life. I also believe that everyone should have access to affordable original art. Art isn't a luxury, it's a necessity that brings joy and pleasure ti your life.
